About this Series

This series of courses on sustainability was written in response to the expressed needs of Membership Based Organizations (MBOs) of informal workers looking for a basic guide on operational practices and achieving sustainability. The project was initiated by WIEGO (Women in Informal Employment: Globalizing and Organizing), as part of the Inclusive Cities project, a collaboration of local/national MBOs of informal workers, international alliances of MBOs, and support organizations working together as partners to improve the situation of the working poor.
