This role coordinates with WIEGO and other networks for communication, prepares specific communication plans for events and campaigns, and trains worker leaders and office bearers in communication. The manager supervises the Communication Officer, Digital Infrastructure Manager, and Interpretation Coordinator, ensuring timely production of content calendars. Additionally, the manager serves as the point of contact for communication needs, oversees media coverage of IAWP events, and acts as Editor-in-Chief for all content, including newsletters, publications, and visual materials.
