PUNE: Following the breakdown of the garbage processing plant at the landfill site in Phursungi-Urali, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has instructed SWaCH (Solid Waste Collection and Handling) – a co-operative of waste pickers for door-to-door collection of waste – to temporarily stop collecting garbage from households.
